Winners of Walton Family Foundation Incubator

An amazing accomplishment marking the start of many to come!

In September last year, Flype was fortunate to join the Scale Challenge, an incubator program out of NW Arkansas, USA, that is funded directly by the Walton Family Foundation (founders and owners of the retail giant Walmart). The program was in the form of a competition, where 150 startups were chosen out of thousands of applicants to participate and compete in the program, where the winner gets flown to NW Arkansas to meet with the Walton Family Foundation and and their network of investors who are interested in investing in and supporting the program winners.

Since joining the program in September, Flype team has been working under the radar to build an unprecedented express delivery solution that is tailored to the retail industry, to ultimately offer a service that would decentralize retailers logistics, save them millions of dollars in infrastructure costs and offer their customers an unprecedented same/next day delivery between cities and countries. During the program, we’ve benefited immensely from the valuable workshops, webinars and connections with industry leading experts who have added great value to the project, providing us with expert knowledge and guidance that pointed us to the right direction.

Today, we are happy and proud to have been chosen, out of 150 participants, as winners of the Scale Challenge, a Walton Family Foundation and funded incubator program. This is a great step that only marks the start of many amazing accomplishments to come! In addition to that, we are also very excited to announce that the development of the platform is going at full speed and we expect to launch the Flype platform on Q4 this year!

Many thanks to the organizers of the Scale Challenge program, Cody Locke and Rosemarie Trueman for their help and assistance during the past year!
